During the last session of the Bolesławiec City Council Mieczysław Kilimnik was honored with a diploma for the courage he displayed during the rescue operation following the explosion of a bioethanol fireplace at 12 Prusa Street in Bolesławiec.
– Mr. Mieczysław Kilimnik, despite the danger he faced, showed tremendous courage and a heroic attitude by helping a woman who was injured as a result of the tragic incident – said Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman, thanking the Bolesławiec resident for his heroic conduct.
In addition to the diploma, Mr. Mieczysław also received a watch with a commemorative dedication.
