Both detentions took place on February 13. The 22-year-old woman, a passenger in a passenger car, was caught during a routine traffic check. Her nervous behavior drew the officers’ attention. In the woman’s handbag, officers found several portions of methamphetamine. The drug was hidden in a cigarette packet. Interestingly, the 22-year-old told the police that she had found the narcotics... on the street.
At the same time, another police patrol detained a 19-year-old man who began behaving strangely when he saw the officers. As it turned out, the man had several portions of marijuana on him.
Both detainees now face up to three years in prison.
