The Investigations Division of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra is conducting an investigation against Grzegorz F., the former president of Zakład Energetyki Cieplnej Sp. z o.o. in Bolesławiec, and the company’s proxies, Bronisław S. and Ewa M.
They have been accused of crimes related to violations of public procurement regulations in connection with a tender held in 2001 to select the designer and contractor for the project entitled “Construction of the K-6 district heating main from Orla Street to Garncarska Street in Bolesławiec.”
The suspects’ actions involved favoring one of the bidders in the tender procedure, contrary to the principles of equality and fair competition set out in the Public Procurement Act. Through this conduct, they acted to the detriment of Zakład Energetyki Cieplnej, which is owned by the city of Bolesławiec.
