Eight Bolesławiec traffic police officers conducted the preventive and inspection operation “Sober Morning” on Monday, 27 January. The officers checked 200 drivers. Police apprehended one drunk truck driver and one driver who had “consumed alcohol” (from 0.2 to 0.5 per mille of alcohol in the body).
Police warn that operations of this type will be organized regularly. Reminder: driving while drunk may be punishable by up to two years in prison.
