The fundraiser began on Saturday, January 11, during the cross-country race called “A Walk with the Orchestra,” held in Iwiny. The event was co-organized by UKS Tukan Iwiny and the Municipal Cultural Centre in Warta Bolesławiecka. This year, PLN 1,206.40 was raised during the event; more information on the subject can be found in the article They ran for the Orchestra and raised over PLN 1,200.
This year, the organization of the municipal finale in Warta was abandoned; however, on Sunday, 35 volunteers went out into the area and collected money in collection tins. In total, PLN 9,785.42 was raised in the municipality. The volunteer who raised the most money was Samanta Kraśnicka.
The organizers of the campaign thank the staff members (Waldemarowi Sosze, Dariuszowi Pachnikowi, Mirosławowi Kopczyńskiemu, Mirosławowi Różyckiemu, Renacie Piętce, Patrycji Dyjeckiej-Mosiądz), the volunteers from the Jan Paul II Middle School in Iwiny and the donors, as well as the Municipal Cultural Centre and UKS Tukan Iwiny.
