For the fourteenth time, people with disabilities, their relatives, caregivers and friends will have the opportunity to take part in an integration Christmas wafer meeting for people with disabilities from Bolesławiec County. It will take place on January 25 (Saturday) in the sports hall of I LO (Tyrankiewiczów Street).
The celebration will begin with Holy Mass at 10:00 a.m., followed by the sharing of the wafer and exchanging Christmas wishes, as well as a shared meal. There will also be an artistic program on a Christmas theme, performed, among others, by people with disabilities. At the end, the participants will receive Christmas gifts. It will also be possible to view an exhibition of artworks created by people with disabilities.
The organizers of the wafer gathering – Bolesławiec County, the Association of Parents of Children and Young People Requiring Special Care in Bolesławiec, the municipal and communal authorities of Bolesławiec County, and parishes – warmly invite everyone interested to take part in the celebration.
People with disabilities interested in attending the meeting can register at the Department of Civic, Social and Health Affairs of the Bolesławiec County Office (high-rise building, room 712, tel. 75 735 18 79, e-mail: k.grzelczyk@powiatboleslawiecki.pl) or at social assistance centers – by January 14.
In addition, the organizers are asking county residents to help prepare the celebration by baking cakes for the wafer gathering. They can be brought to the sports hall of I LO in Bolesławiec on Friday, January 24, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturday, January 25, from 9:00 a.m. The organizers would like to thank all kind-hearted people in advance for their help.
