Update

In the first set, both teams fought point for point, and neither managed to gain a significant advantage. The dominance of the Złotoryja team began in the second set. The BTS team made quite a few errors, especially on serves. The visitors quickly built a lead of several points. Towards the end of the set, their advantage reached as many as 8 points (23:15). The Bolesławiec players rallied and scored three more points, but we still lost the set 18:25.

In the third set, the Złotoryja players remained much more effective and quickly built a seven-point lead. Fortunately, halfway through the set, the Bolesławiec players woke up and, although they did not manage to win the set, lost it by only four points, 21:25.

The match was played before a capacity crowd. “I would like to sincerely thank the fans for their wonderful, respectful and strong sporting support,” says Jacek Łuczkowski, head of the Bolesławiec Volleyball Association. “I attended all of BTS’s away matches and, without false modesty, I can say that none of the third-league teams has such an enthusiastic and passionate crowd.”

BTS will play its final match of the regular season away. Next Saturday, our volleyball players will face the team from Góra. On 1 February, the Bolesławiec team will play another away match – this time against the team that will occupy the same position in Group B. Meanwhile, on 8 February, both teams will play the return match in Bolesławiec.
