The activity took place on December 4 at Municipal School Complex No. 3 in Bolesławiec. It was attended by 224 children from preschool groups and Grades 1–3 of Primary School No. 2. The invited guests (deputy head of the Social Affairs Department of Bolesławiec City Hall Stanisław Wyganowski, director of the Municipal Economic and Administrative Team Joanna Bartkowiak, Krystyna Sołkiewicz from the Municipal Public Library, and Irena Sikora-Kołodyńska, director of MZS No. 3) served as readers (reading texts about various teddy bears) and judges.
The children solved riddles, recited poems and sang songs about teddy bears, and also presented a “teddy bear cheer.” The meeting concluded with a group photo session. What is more, Stanisław Wyganowski surprised the children with a wonderful proposal—he announced an art competition for a comic or story about Śpioch the teddy bear.
The activity was prepared by teachers: Monika Grzyb, Małgorzata Oleś and Teresa Góra.
