A participant in the BOK-MCC workshops, Daria Fecyk, received an honorable mention at the National Biennial of Visual Arts for Children and Young People. The competition, organized by the Youth Cultural Centre in Gorzów Wielkopolski, received 1,050 works from 87 institutions across the country. The committee awarded 20 prizes and 14 honorable mentions, and selected 57 works for inclusion in the exhibition.

At the 2nd Lower Silesian Review of the Artistic Work of People with Disabilities “GaleriON 2013,” the laureates included participants from the II Community Self-Help Home in Bolesławiec, who also attend classes at the BOK-MCC studio. The following received honorable mentions: Karolina Kaczmarek, Agnieszka Kolińska, Weronika Kozioł, Aneta Kwiatkowska and Karolina Liszcz.

The GaleriON Review of the Artistic Work of People with Disabilities is the first undertaking of its kind in Lower Silesia on such a large scale. Its aim is to promote the artistic works and creations of talented people with disabilities from our region.

The glass and stained glass studio at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramics Centre is run by Magdalena Konieczna.
