The starost’s awards, worth between PLN 1,700 and PLN 2,500, were presented to the following teachers: Edyta Gorczyca (ZSOiZ), Wiesława Gruszecka (ZSHiU), Marek Kornosz (ZSM), Bożena Kowalska (ZSB), Małgorzata Kowalska (OSW Iwiny), Piotr Księżyk (ZSM), Adam Maksymczyk (ZSM), Stanisław Małkowski (ZSO nr 1), Joanna Misiura (ZSO nr 1), Jolanta Sikora (ZSO nr 1), Laura Słocka-Przydróżna (ZSOiZ), Wiesław Stefanik (ZSHiU) and Krzysztof Żuromski (II LO).

Certificates of recognition for obtaining the rank of appointed teacher were presented to: Edyta Adamczyk (ZSM), Tomasz Arendarczyk (OSW Iwiny), Elżbieta Jolanta Dacewicz (ZSB), Paweł Domzalski (ZSOiZ), Karolina Jarząbek (ZSOiZ), Agnieszka Kaźmierczyk (ZSM), Magdalena Olga Konieczna (MDK), Bernard Edward Lewandowski (ZSE), Agnieszka Maksymczyk (ZSM), Anna Mirecka (ZSHiU) and Katarzyna Sas (MDK).

Other teachers whose principals had nominated them for the so-called Principal’s Award were also present at Wednesday’s gala. This year, 104 teachers received such a nomination.

The presentation of diplomas and awards was enhanced by performances from children and young people from the workshops of the Youth Culture Centre. The “Mały Bolesławiec” Song and Dance Ensemble also performed on stage. At the end of the gala, the Tygrys Ogłuszony Domem theatre group staged a performance.

When presenting the awards, the Starost said that the teachers had received vouchers worth PLN 2,500. That is what we wrote earlier. The Department of Education, Culture, Physical Education and Sport clarified the information: the teachers received cash awards ranging from PLN 1,700 to PLN 2,500.
