The ceremonial celebrations marking the 95th Anniversary of the Restoration of Independence began with a holy mass at the Bolesławiec Marian Basilica. Later, the national flag was raised in the Market Square, and Deputy County Governor Stanisław Chwojnicki delivered a speech. Major Jerzy Juchaniuk gave a roll call in remembrance of the soldiers who fell defending their homeland. The ceremonies then continued at the Old Theatre, where an artistic and patriotic program was presented by the “Harmonia” Choir from Nowogrodziec and the “Mały Bolesławiec” Song and Dance Ensemble.
