The film’s main character, a falcon named Kai, is raised by his father in a sun-scorched wilderness. Ignoring his guardian’s warnings, Kai sets off on a journey to Zambezia, a mythical land where birds from across the continent live in health and prosperity. Here, the falcon will learn more about his parents’ past and join the elite Beak squadron guarding the safety of the winged citizens.
When the city becomes the target of an invasion by the cunning lizard Budzo and a band of marabou storks, Kai, supported by his friends, will prove to every feathered and scaly creature that all birds are brave, and that adventure is not only for eagles!
