During the October session of the City Council, Eugeniusz Jabłoński, a councillor from the Forum club, spoke and submitted an interpellation concerning the creation of outdoor gyms in our city. “The most suitable location for one would be Popiełuszki Square,” the councillor said. “Such gyms are very popular.”
The councillor added that such a facility could be used by people who are ashamed to exercise in private gyms, as well as by those who cannot afford to.
“I myself see a need to build several such gyms,” Mayor Piotr Roman replied. He added that he had seen this type of gym in Sopot, where it attracts considerable interest, including among pensioners.
We will return to this matter.
