The accident occurred before 2 p.m. at the main railway crossing on Modłowa Street in Bolesławiec. The driver of a passenger car hit a signal. He explained that while crossing the railway tracks, he wanted to avoid a collision, lost control of the vehicle and therefore left the road. With an injured arm and suspected concussion, he was taken to hospital.
Until the signalling system is repaired, PKP employees will direct traffic.
