From 26 to 29 September, the 14th National Special Olympics Football Tournament was held in Bydgoszcz. Thirty seven-a-side teams took part in the competition. Students from the Bolesławiec County Special Schools and Institutions Complex (Tomasz Bochenek, Adrian Jamróz, Piotr Obrzut, Maciej Kubiszewski, Arkadiusz Kubuś, Marcin Przyłucki, Andrzej Puzio and Bartosz Rudziński) won the title of Polish runners-up. It is the institution’s greatest sporting success in its history.
The school thanks the players, as well as their supervisors and coaches: Halina Małyska, Waldemar Krzemiński and Dariusz Musza.
