The swimming lessons program with instructors began at Bolesławiec’s Orka on September 21. Every Saturday through December 2013, approximately 90 children from Lwówek County and Złotoryja County will take part.
The entire project is financed by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism’s sports activities fund for students, the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, and with the support of local governments. In total, 360 children from four counties will participate in the program. The Lower Silesian Sports Federation is the operator and implementer of the entire program.
The swimming lessons program includes children from primary schools in counties of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship that do not have an indoor swimming pool in their area. The program provides 20 hours of lessons for children in training groups from each county, on previously agreed dates.
