Three young artists from the Akademia Sztuki art studio, working under the supervision of instructor Stanisława Wojdy-Pytlińska, were among the winners of the National Painting Competition “Dream Journeys: Mexico”.

The jury member Tatiana Pytkowska presented the award to Ada Burdzy (10) for her work “My Mexico”. In the 7–10 age category, Karolina Guzowska (8) took second place, while Julia Kret (9) received an honourable mention.

The competition, held under the patronage of the Embassy of Mexico in Poland, received 679 entries from across Poland. The entries were judged by: Ewa Grajber from the Embassy, and visual artists Tatiana and Włodzimierz Pytkowscy. The formal presentation of diplomas and awards will take place on Sunday, 22 September, during the outdoor event “Ale Meksyk” in Warsaw.

The competition was organised by the Warsaw-based “Zastów” Cultural Club.
