Two strong candidates ran from our area: Cezary Przybylski of Civic Platform and Jan Cołokidzi of the Democratic Party. Unfortunately, Cezary Przybylski received too few votes, while the Democratic Party, whose list Jan Cołokidzi ran on, failed to exceed the 5% threshold at all. The remaining candidates from our area received very few votes.

“I think it is true that we cannot reach an agreement in Bolesławiec and put forward a single centre-right candidate. The result is good, although I thought it would be better. I have been on holiday until now; now I am returning to work,” Cezary Przybylski told Boleslawiec.org.

The most votes for Civic Platform in the Legnica constituency were won by: Grzegorz Schetyna (14,978), Beata Sawicka (8,764), Piotr Cybulski (7,332), Marek Obrębalski (7,127), Roman Brodniak (5,228), Norbert Wojnarowski (5,031) and Cezary Przybylski (4,273). According to forecasts, only the first three will enter the Sejm.
