Sunday’s celebrations were dominated by children. The youngest participants painted bisque pieces, shaped clay sculptures, worked on potter’s wheels and had a wonderful time at the Arka Noego concert.
The Ceramic Animation Town operated from Friday, 23 August. For three days, children and adults could try their hand at working on a potter’s wheel, painting and stamping bisque pieces. There were also pottery demonstrations led by Pracownia Arkuszyńskich, as well as pottery workshops by Rodzina Kopaczyńskich. The programme included the “From Bolesławiec’s Windows” project, involving the creation of ceramic tiles depicting views (frames) of Bolesławiec, and the “Around the Clay World” project, involving the creation of a flat ceramic form.
On Sunday, the Market Square hosted a dramatized programme for children, “An Adventure with Pirates”. The children’s attractions culminated in a concert by Arka Noego.
