We were asked to publicize the issue by a Reader – Mr Tomasz from Nowa Wieś (Bolesławiec Municipality). In an email to the editorial office, he wrote:
The potholes have been there since spring this year, since around the end of March. I have not intervened in this matter, but [...] for me, intervention is pointless, because potholes on roads after such an intense and long winter are as obvious as the fact that, for example, the capital is in Warsaw.
In my opinion, the County [...], since it is a county road, should deal with this problem itself. The County Roads Authority should inspect the road and fill the potholes. And, please believe me, the potholes on our road are enormous.
The head of the County Roads Authority Roman Palczewski said that he would check our report. He added: – If there is a pothole on this road, it will be repaired quickly.
