The educational and information meeting took place on July 4 at a Girl Scout campsite in the Osiecznica commune. Officers from Bolesławiec and Osiecznica reminded the campers about safety rules, including during swimming and hikes. They also talked about the dangers young people may face during the summer holidays. The Girl Scouts showed the police officers around the campsite and had the opportunity to sit in a police car.
Moreover, during the meeting organized as part of the “Safe Holidays” campaign, the uniformed officers handed out reflective bands to the campers, which are especially useful during hikes.
