The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 25, in Nowogrodziec. The 19-year-old BMW driver, a firefighter from the local Ochotnicza Straż Pożarna, was hurrying to an emergency call when he skidded and crashed into a protective wall and flower bed (owned by the Nowogrodziec municipal authorities). Fortunately, no one was injured. The driver was fined.
As a warning, the firefighters from OSP Nowogrodziec posted the photo on their Facebook profile. As they wrote themselves: “You may criticize [każdy może], but none of you knows what it is like when you are driving in response to a siren and really do not know what is happening: whether it is a fire, an accident or—as in this case—the flooding of a farm. We try to leave for the emergency call as quickly as possible.”
