Toddlers and their parents eagerly visited the rescue dogs, which were waiting for their young guests in a specially prepared area. The children could brush the dogs, scratch them behind the ear and pet them. The youngsters happily painted at tables prepared especially for them and felt perfectly comfortable in the company of their four-legged friends.
The dogs patiently endured being hugged. Their handlers made sure that both the animals and the children felt comfortable and safe during their contact with one another.
