The Creative Expression Workshop of Municipal School Complex No. 2 in Bolesławiec invites you to the performance “He and She, She and He,” based on motifs from Mark Twain’s “The Diaries of Adam and Eve.” The performance can be seen on 12 June in the Forum cinema hall. It starts at 11:00.
“The Diaries of Adam and Eve,” a story about the history of the first people, is above all a work about love. This short humorous parable contains a profound truth and an equally profound faith in the power of love... The performance is presented in a comic convention, using various elements of stage expression: song, movement, dance, text interpretation and cabaret motifs. Stereotypes of women and men, as well as the relationships between them, are treated satirically.
The Creative Expression Workshop of MZS No. 2. Artistic and theatrical activities are carried out at the school and beyond it. The classes aim to awaken and develop students’ artistic, visual-art and acting talents, as well as to deepen their knowledge of the broadly understood art of the region and the world.
During theatre classes, students take part in spoken-word art workshops to awaken and develop the need for correctness and clarity of expression. The young people prepare for acting and recitation presentations, improving their selection, analysis and interpretation of artistic texts.
Students also participate in cultural events in the city and region. Trips to cultural institutions in Bolesławiec and Wrocław are organized, during which the young people take part in art workshops and museum lessons, and develop their ability to receive and appreciate works of theatrical art.
The initiator and supervisor of the Creative Expression Workshop is Katarzyna Syguła-Wieczorek, a theatre instructor and teacher at MZS No. 2 in Bolesławiec.
