The incident occurred on Tuesday, 14 May, on Cieszkowskiego Street. Hydraulic oil began leaking from an excavator travelling from the intersection with Staszica Street towards the roundabout near Kościuszki Street. At one point, the excavator stopped and began rolling down the slope. Fortunately, the operator managed to stop the vehicle against the kerb.
A large amount of hydraulic oil leaked from the vehicle. The spill on Cieszkowskiego Street is more than 100 metres long. The fire service and employees of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways are on site. The spill is being removed. Traffic is moving alternately.
