The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 30, on national road No. 94 (between Brzeźnik and Parzyce). Two cars collided on a straight stretch of road: a Ford Galaxy and a Chrysler Neon. The Ford driver was injured in the collision. The man was taken to hospital. The Chrysler driver and passenger (the car ended up in a ditch) sustained only minor injuries.
Police are determining the cause of the incident. It is known, however, that the accident occurred when the Chrysler driver attempted to overtake the Ford driver. One car probably clipped the other. The Ford veered into a ditch, bounced off a tree and ended up back on the road. The road is temporarily blocked.
