Police officers from Kruszyn and Nowogrodziec detained a 30-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra suspected of stealing a laptop. The incident took place at one of the petrol stations in Bolesławiec municipality. The victim refueled his vehicle and went to pay. However, he did not lock his car. When he returned, it turned out that he had been robbed. He estimated his losses at PLN 4,000.
Officers detained the 30-year-old suspect two hours after the incident. What is more, officers found a stolen mobile phone on the Jelenia Góra resident. Measures are currently under way to detain the second perpetrator.
The police returned the recovered laptop to its owner. The detained 30-year-old faces up to 5 years in prison.
