Two residents of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, aged 43 and 50, were apprehended by officers from Bolesławiec County. Both are suspected of stealing eight metal doors from the premises of a now-defunct mine there. They sold the stolen property at scrap yards. The losses were estimated at PLN 18,000.
The 43- and 50-year-old men were taken into police custody. They face up to five years in prison.
