On 27 March, we celebrate World Theatre Day. On that day, a marathon of theatrical art took place at the Old Theatre in Bolesławiec. The celebrations began with the performance “The Fern Flower”, prepared by the Youth Cultural Centre Acting Studio under the direction of Sławomir Ratajski.
Then the Świetliki group appeared on stage. Children from Parowa and Ołobok, active at GOSIR in Osiecznica, presented the show “Life Is Not a Fairy Tale”, directed by Alicja Drozd.
The next presentation was “A Short Verse”, an étude prepared by the MDK Szkraby Island and director Katarzyna Pranić, based on a text by Ludwik Jerzy Kern.
The celebrations concluded with a production directed by Katarzyna Pranić. The play, about nighttime fears troubling the youngest children, was staged by the Teatrzyk Słowa.
Most of the presented performances will be shown again at the Old Theatre in early June.
