The workshops will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Museum of Ceramics building at 13 Mickiewicza Street. The activities are aimed mainly at children, who, using guidance from instructor-craftspeople from Poland and the Czech Republic, will be able to make original Easter decorations by hand.

A sweet snack will also be prepared for workshop participants, during which they will be able to try traditional Easter baked goods served on Polish and Czech tables on the occasion of the holidays.

Visitors to the demonstrations will also be able to tour the “Czech Easter Traditions” exhibition, which presents customs associated with the holiday season cultivated south of the Karkonosze Mountains. The display features holiday decorations, including sugar Easter eggs, sculptures, clappers and so-called Easter nativity scenes, which are not known in Poland. The exhibition is also accompanied by a photographic display entitled “Easter in Lower Silesia”. Photographs showing traditions familiar to residents of our region can be viewed in the garden next to the Museum building.

Admission to the exhibition and participation in the demonstrations and workshops are free of charge. Organized groups are asked to register in advance by calling 75 644 22 00 or by email at poczta@muzeum.boleslawiec.net.
