The BOK Film Discussion Club will implement the Operational Programme “Education and popularisation of film culture – priority: local film initiatives”. For the sixth time, the Polish Film Institute has granted funding for the activities of the BOK Film Discussion Club, DKF BOK, founded in 2007. Last year, the Institute also recognised the club's activities by awarding it a statuette in the “Best Film Discussion Club” category.
“The main aim of our club is to screen films awarded at festivals but unknown to a wider audience,” says Iwona Bojko, deputy director of BOK-MCC. “Access to ambitious cinema is important to us, hence the inexpensive season tickets. With a monthly season ticket, each screening costs only 5 zlotys. I am very pleased that an average of 200 people use the season tickets each month, and the Forum auditorium is always full during DKF screenings,” adds Iwona Bojko.
The detailed programme of the Film Discussion Club is published every month on Istotne.pl and on the Forum cinema website. DKF meetings take place every Monday, with films always starting at 7:00 p.m.
