Janusz Radek has many fans in our town. He even wanted to return to Krakow together with the women who danced, sang and joked with him during the concert. The audience responded enthusiastically and performed, along with the vocalist, the exercises he assigned.
One of them involved breathing with the diaphragm and producing the sound “ha.” “You can use your imagination,” Radek encouraged the audience. “Your ‘ha’ can be more military, aggressive. Or imagine parts of the body that are close to the diaphragm. Then your ‘ha’ can be passionate,” the artist joked.
The vocalist presented his new repertoire, “From Mouth to Mouth.” As he himself said, these were musical stories about sweethearts of various kinds. The hit “Mr. Roman” delighted the Bolesławiec audience. The listeners greeted with ovations Janusz Radek’s declaration that we are all Romans.
This exceptional concert—and one of the best musical events of the winter cultural season at BOK-MCC—ended with three encores. And just as in Radek’s song “Take Care of the Moment,” the moments spent with the artist should be arrested so that they last forever, so that they are not allowed to pass.
