The thefts took place in December last year. The first occurred on the evening of 11 December. A 29-year-old man ran up to a woman and snatched her handbag. His loot included, among other things, a wallet with money, documents and a mobile phone.
Several days later, the suspect—this time together with a 30-year-old resident of Osiecznica municipality—robbed another woman. The victim's handbag contained, among other things, money and two mobile phones. The total losses in the case were estimated at more than PLN 1,200.
The perpetrators were detained. The officers recovered some of the stolen property. Both suspects now face up to 5 years in prison.
