This is another road incident to occur on Cieszkowskiego Street. In April 2011, three passenger cars collided there, and in September 2010, a BMW driver failed to yield the right of way to the driver of a truck. To avoid a collision, the truck driver swerved around the passenger car, knocked down a road sign and drove onto the grass verge, damaging the wheel and undercarriage. The truck was loaded with parquet flooring. The load weighed 21 tonnes. Had the truck driver not swerved around the passenger car, there could have been a tragedy. Thanks to the truck driver's reflexes, the passenger car was only lightly clipped and no one was injured.
