As part of religion classes, Rev. Bronisław Kryłowski, an exorcist from the Holy Family parish in Legnica, visited the Janusz Korczak II General Secondary School in Bolesławiec. The meeting began with the participants praying the rosary together.
Rev. Kryłowski told the high school students about cases of possession. “The devil is an exceptionally intelligent being, beating us with his intelligence. A man speaks in a child’s voice, a woman sounds like a drunk man—in this way the devil shows us that he is,” the exorcist emphasized.
The clergyman also spoke about how suffering people distance themselves from God. He recounted the story of a man who completely lost his faith when his wife died of cancer. “This man did not return to the Church; he began reading ‘Fakty i Mity’ and ‘Nie’ and browsing the Internet. He kept saying: this priest is this way, that one is that way. He did not want to see how much good there is in the Church,” he noted.
“I remember when I experienced my inner tragedy, when my whole world collapsed,” continued Rev. Bronisław Kryłowski. “At that time, I noticed a rosary lying there. But I could not pick it up; I felt as if someone were holding my hand. Then I thought: I cannot give up!”
The exorcist also mentioned the stigmatist Padre Pio and St. Juan Diego, an Indigenous man to whom the Virgin Mary appeared in the 16th century. He stressed that the sacraments of penance and the Eucharist are very important. “Remember the Eucharist,” he told the high school students. “Sermons can be boring, but a true miracle takes place during the Eucharist. The devil tries to destroy us in every area. Our weapons against him are the rosary, Holy Communion and prayer.”
