Eight couples celebrated their 50th wedding anniversaries on November 24 at Bolesławiec’s Wedding Palace: Karolina and Janusz Dmochowscy, Marianna and Karol Kulczyccy, Teresa and Marian Kundowie, Urszula and Zdzisław Lorkowie, Waleria and Józef Łukasiewiczowie, Stanisława and Kazimierz Nawroccy, Maria and Tadeusz Śmietankowie and Anna and Franciszek Witnikowie.
The spouses were honored with diplomas and medals for long marital life. The distinguished jubilaries were decorated on behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland by Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman.
The ceremony was enhanced by a performance by students from the State Music School in Bolesławiec.
