The management board of the "Bolesławianka" Housing Cooperative has already met with the mayor regarding the transfer of ownership of the land, meaning the acquisition by residents of part of the state-owned property. The discussions concerned purchasing, at a substantial discount from the Municipal Commune, ownership rights to land that is currently held in perpetual usufruct by the Housing Cooperative.
"Work is currently underway to prepare a draft resolution of the City Council on this matter," says Paweł Maciejczuk, deputy head of the Department of Property and Spatial Management. After the summer break, once all legal issues have been resolved, the draft resolution is to be submitted to the City Council for consideration. The amount of the discount and the possibility of transferring ownership will depend on its decision. "For now, the discussion is focused on a 90-percent discount, but the talks are still ongoing," adds Paweł Maciejczuk.
