Residents are complaining about the lack of grass cutting in the green areas between the apartment blocks. The biggest problem is in places that should be safe for children to play—in other words, on playgrounds. Grass is also covering the benches, making them unusable.
“The children come home covered in bites because these thickets are teeming with insects. Not to mention that you cannot see what is lying in the grass,” says Ms Anna, a resident of Staroszkolna Street. “These are not conditions suitable for play.”
“You used to be able to sit on a bench and talk to a neighbor, but now? The bench is there, but the grass has grown up to its seat. The grass covers everything,” adds Mr Marian from Gałczyńskiego Street.
Residents hope that the Cooperative will address the problem as soon as possible, before the grass completely covers the entire playgrounds.
