Officers received information that marijuana was being grown on one of the properties located in Gmina Bolesławiec. After searching the residential and farm buildings, the officers secured more than 2,100 portions of marijuana and a device for grinding dried plant material.
Police determined that the drugs belonged to a 24-year-old resident of Gmina Bolesławiec. The man claimed that he grew cannabis solely for his own use.
At the request of the district prosecutor’s office, the suspect was placed under police supervision and banned from leaving the country. The 24-year-old faces up to 10 years’ imprisonment.
