Bolesławiec police conducted a “Speed” operation aimed at improving road safety in the city and county. Officers issued 89 fines, including 78 for exceeding the speed limit.
Police remind drivers that excessive speed is one of the most common causes of road accidents, while seat belts are the most effective way to ensure safety while driving. Half of the people killed in road accidents could have survived if they had been wearing seat belts at the moment of impact.
