Bolesławiec police carried out the “Seat Belts” operation on Monday, 10 September. The results are not encouraging. Officers checked 66 cars. As many as 52 people were travelling without their seat belts fastened. Fines were issued.
Police remind drivers: seat belts are the most effective way to ensure safety while driving. Half of the fatalities in road accidents could be alive if they had been wearing seat belts at the moment of the collision.
