Behind BOK-MCC, a Ceramic Animation Town will be created (Friday, 24 August). For three days, every child will be able to try their hand at throwing pottery on a wheel or watch a demonstration of historical pottery.

The town will also feature a theatre performance and film workshops. On Friday at 3:30 p.m., the travelling theatre will perform “Tales of the Vagants”. On Sunday, the Locomotora Group will lead film workshops for children. Three separate sessions will begin at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The second Ceramic Animation Town will be located on the steps of the Town Hall. Pottery demonstrations will be led by craftsmen from the Traditional Workshop of the Arkuszyński Family. The demonstration will be combined with workshops. Participants will be able to take the vessels they make home as souvenirs.

A Viking Village will be built on the square in the Market Square. Visitors will be able to see replicas of Viking tents with equipment, watch warriors fight and take part themselves, participate in original medieval games, try on armour and have a souvenir photo taken.

The square by the emerging City Center shopping gallery (1 Asnyka Street) will be transformed into Safari Park—a large sandbox for children with comfortable loungers and reed parasols for parents—where fruit salads and refreshments will be available to order. The park will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., from Wednesday (22 August) to Sunday (26 August).

The artists of the International Ceramic and Sculpture Open-Air Workshop have prepared a surprise for the youngest visitors. On Sunday, they will hold a happening in the square in the Market Square. The attractions for children will culminate in a Sunday concert by Kaczki z Nowej Paczki. The band will perform on the small stage at 3:00 p.m.

The organizers invite residents to celebrate together.
