67-year-old Jan Kopczacki, a resident of Bolesławiec, was last seen on August 15 this year. That day, he went mushroom picking in the forest (he headed toward the village of Suszki). He has not returned home and has not contacted his family.
The man was wearing a green short-sleeved shirt, navy trousers, black low shoes and carrying a navy one-strap shoulder bag.
Anyone who may help determine the whereabouts of the missing man is asked to contact the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec (tel. 997 or 112).
Update: 2012-08-22 09:00
A hunter found the man's body near the forest outside Łaziska. An autopsy is expected to help clarify the circumstances of the 67-year-old's death. The death probably occurred from natural causes.
