At concerts by Genesis Classic-Ray Wilson & The Berlin Symphony Ensemble, the group’s greatest hits take center stage: “I Can’t Dance”, “Congo”, “Follow You, Follow Me”, “Land of Confusion” and “Jesus He Knows Me”.

Ray Wilson was named by “Classic Rock Magazyn” as one of the United Kingdom’s finest vocalists. The composer and songwriter is particularly valued for his stage charisma and outstanding concert performances. He confirmed his class through his work with Genesis (in 1996, he replaced Phil Collins). Ray has also worked with artists and bands such as Armin Van Buuren and Scorpions.

Genesis Classic-Ray Wilson opened the UEFA Euro 2012 Fan Zone in Warsaw. More than 80,000 people watched the concert. A year earlier, the musician headlined a major concert broadcast by TVP2 to mark Poland assuming the presidency of the European Union.

During the ceremonial conference, the artist was introduced by Wojciech Jagielski of Radio ZET. “Here we have a man whom, to be honest, I never thought I would meet,” Jagielski said. “When I was a teenager, Genesis was my favorite band, and if someone had told me that in Poland I would find a Genesis vocalist standing just a meter and a half away from me, I would have replied: man, get your head checked, because I might just as well meet an alien!”

Genesis Classic has been continuously touring since 2010. The musicians play more than 130 concerts a year. In Europe, they have performed in Germany, Russia, Austria, Romania, Spain, Portugal and Italy. Ray Wilson is currently promoting the latest box set, “Genesis vs. Stiltskin”, released in 2011. “American Beauty”, the first single from Wilson’s latest original album, “Unfulfillment”, was also a major success in Poland, reaching the top of the charts (Trójka, Jedynka and RMF FM).
