The 7th Regional Athletics Games for Special Schools and Institutions were originally scheduled for May 18. Due to bad weather, the date was moved to June 7. However, the organizers did not encounter favorable weather conditions. Despite the cold and rain, the competition was successfully started and completed. Hot tea and pea soup were waiting for the chilled but happy competitors. The children and young people could also see a modern fire engine and the off-road vehicle used by the Bolesławiec police up close.
