The theft took place on June 30. The 20-year-old man from Bolesławiec stole a bicycle worth PLN 450 from the stairwell of one of the apartment blocks in Bolesławiec. The man was detained. Officers determined that the 20-year-old intended to sell the bicycle and spend the money on alcohol.
The detainee had already been convicted of similar offenses. He now faces up to five years in prison. The officers returned the bicycle to its owner.
