The incident occurred during the night of July 20–21 in Warta Bolesławiecka. The 20-year-old resident of the municipality was walking home. At one point, he stopped and began throwing stones at two cars parked on one of the properties. The vehicles’ owner estimated the damage at approximately PLN 5,000.
The suspect confessed to the crime. He explained that he had been under the influence of alcohol. He now faces a sentence of up to five years in prison.
