The multidisciplinary international His-Story project begins on 13 August and will run until 25 August. The classes will be led by Andy Bass from the United Kingdom and Amos Shein from Israel. The programme includes sculpture, new media, installations and happenings. Workshop participants will work with materials collected from the city and will also create a collection of memories—stories—through objects that become part of the creative process.
Workshop participants will also discuss how art permeates and breaks through into reality, and will record this process.
The project is being carried out by the Stanisław Wyspiański Youth Cultural Centre and the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Bolesławiec as part of the “Social Revitalisation—Take Your Chance!” programme. More information can be found on the MDK website.
