The incident took place during the night of July 8–9 in Nowogrodziec municipality. A drunk 20-year-old man, a resident of the municipality, wanted to board a bus belonging to a Serbian national. When he was refused entry because of his intoxication, he called his friends, also residents of Nowogrodziec municipality, aged 16 and 17. The three of them began vandalizing the bus. The vehicle’s lights and bodywork were damaged.
The vandals were detained. The 20- and 17-year-olds face up to five years in prison. The youngest suspect will answer for his actions before a family court.
