Bolesławiec County, the implementer of the “Programme for Equalising Differences Between Regions II”, financed from the funds of the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons, informs that until 16 July applications for funding may be submitted for:
- the removal of barriers in healthcare facilities and educational institutions to enable disabled people to move around and communicate (up to PLN 150,000 for each project)
- the removal of transport barriers (from PLN 70,000 to PLN 250,000, depending on the means of transport).
The amount of funding from PFRON funds that may be applied for per project may not exceed 40% of its total implementation costs.
Under Area B of the Programme, funding may be sought for:
- educational institutions (preschools; primary schools; lower-secondary schools; upper-secondary schools; art schools; psychological and pedagogical counselling centres; special educational and care centres and rehabilitation and educational centres for disabled children and young people; boarding houses or dormitories, as well as school libraries attended by disabled students)
- healthcare facilities (hospitals, nursing and treatment institutions, nursing and care institutions, medical rehabilitation institutions, inpatient hospices, outpatient clinics, health centres, counselling centres and outpatient departments).
Under Area D of the Programme, municipalities, counties and non-governmental organisations may apply for funding if they document the need to remove transport barriers.
